Welcome to your comprehensive full look at what’s coming to Netflix in October 2026! As the fall season shifts into high gear and we get closer to Halloween, Netflix is rolling out an absolutely stacked lineup of original movies, blockbuster series returns, and even a brand-new live sports event.
The movie slate is looking particularly strong this month. Highlighting the roster is Animals, a tense new political thriller directed by and starring Ben Affleck alongside Kerry Washington and Gillian Anderson (you can check out the newly released trailer above!). We’re also highly anticipating the star-studded Chris Evans and Anya Taylor-Joy action-satire Sacrifice, and Tyler Perry’s gritty new drama, Doing Life.
TV fans have just as much to look forward to. October is bringing heavy-hitting returning favorites, including the fourth season of The Diplomat, the fourth part of the French heist hit Lupin, and our long-awaited return to Night City with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. If you’re in the mood for a new prestige drama, Florence Pugh’s ambitious East of Eden limited series is already looking like a massive awards contender.
