Parineeti Chopra is an Indian actress. She works primarily in Hindi films. She was born on October 22, 1988, in Ambala. Shivang and Sahaj are his two brothers. Priyanka Chopra, Meera Chopra, and Mannara Chopra are her cousins. She completed a triple honours degree in business, finance, and economics from Manchester Business School and returned to India in 2009. Before joining Hindi film industry as an actress she worked as a public relations consultant for Yash Raj films. In 2011, she made her acting debut with the romantic comedy film Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl.She got praised for her starring roles in the box office hits Ishaqzaade (2012), Shuddh Desi Romance (2013), and Hasee Toh Phasee, Dawat-e-Ishq (2014).

After three years of sabbatical from full-time acting, she returned to the screen in 2017 with Yash Raj Films romantic drama Meri Pyari Bindu with Ayushmann Khurrana. She next starred opposite Ajay Devgn in Rohit Shetty’s comedy Golmaal Again. Her notable works in Hindi film industry includes Namaste England (2018), Kesari (2019), The Girls on the Train, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, and Saina. Her other notable works include Code Name, Tiranga (2022), and Uunchai (2022). Her upcoming project, Chamkila, directed by Imtiaz Ali, is a biopic based on the lives of musician and composer Amar Singh Chamkila and Amarjot.
