After Release Delay, Are ‘Adipurush’ Makers Spending Rs 100 Crore More To Re-Do Full VFX?

What was expected to be a sure-shot record-breaking box office success has now turned out to be troublesome for its makers. The teaser of Adipurush was released amid much fanfare but the film received an unexpected backlash from all over. The major bone of contention for social media users was its terrible visual effects. And also the look director Om Raut chose to give his characters be it Prabhas’ Lord Ram or Saif Ali Khan’s Raavan.

Recently, it was reported that the release of Adipurush has been postponed & will make it to the big screens in the Summer of 2023.

Now, a new report claims that the makers have decided to re-do the entire VFX portion of the film & for the same they are planning to spend an additional Rs 100 crore.

This rework on VFX also means that the film may not even be ready by the Summer of 2023.

According to Lets Cinema, “#Adipurush out of Summer 2023 race as makers under pressure to re-do the full VFX portion of the film which will cost them approx. ₹100 crores.”
