Megastar Chiranjeevi’s film, also starring Shruti Haasan and Ravi Teja, will hit screens for Sankranti. After a long time, there is a lot of excitement around a Chiranjeevi film, since it is said to be a total entertainer with plenty of action, romance, and some comedy too. Chiru’s previous two films – Godfather and Acharya – didn’t do well at the box office. We give you five reasons as to why you must watch Waltair Veerayya, directed by Bobby aka K S Ravindra.

MEGASTAR CHIRANJEEVI GOES MASS:-

The most obvious and topmost reason, of course, is that it stars Chiranjeevi, the legend of Telugu cinema. Megastar Chiranjeevi will be seen in a complete masala commercial entertainer as a fisherman after a very long time. He told the media that we could see the vintage Chiranjeevi as seen in Gharana Mogodu, Mutamestri, and Annayya. In a media interaction, the megastar said he delivers what the audience wants and the audience had been wanting to see Chiranjeevi in a commercial film for a long time now.

FACE OFF WITH RAVI TEJA:-

For the first time, Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja face off in this film directed by K S Ravindra. Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is a Telugu star in his own right and he just delivered a superhit film with Dhamaka in December. He appears for a good 40 minutes in the film and will be playing a police officer, ACP Vikram Sagar, in this movie.

ROMANCING SHRUTI HAASAN:-

The third reason is that it stars pretty Shruti Haasan, who is back on a roll in Tollywood. With two Sankranti releases this time – Veera Simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya, Shruti Haasan seems to be making her way back to the top in Telugu cinema. The songs from Waltair Veerayya have been rocking the charts and Shruti is being loved by fans. In fact, even Chiranjeevi has said he would like to work with Shruti Haasan again.

DIRECTOR K S RAVINDRA BACK AFTER 4 YEARS:-

Director Bobby aka K S Ravindra’s last film in 2019 did not fare well and he did not sign on any new projects till 2021. Backed by a strong production house, Mythri Movie Makers, Bobby is back with a commercial film starring Megastar Chiranjeevi.
