Confirmed! Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu to hit the screens on Jan 12

His eagerly-awaited movie Varisu is officially set to open in theatres on January 12. The announcement comes after weeks of speculation about the exact release date. Varisu is a family entertainer, directed by Vamshi Paidipally.

VARISU RELEASE DATE CONFIRMED:-

Vijay, who suffered a setback when Beast failed to live up to expectations, is set to return to the big screen with Varisu. Its makers had earlier revealed that it would hit the screens during Pongal. They, however, did not confirm the exact date. Phars Film Co LLC, a banner that distributes Indian films in the overseas market, has now revealed that Varisu will hit the screens on January 12.

ABOUT VARISU:-

Varisu is directed by Telugu filmmaker Vamsi Paidipally, who is best known for directing films such as Ram Charan’s Yavadu and the Mahesh Babu-led Maharshi. Varisu’s screenplay is jointly penned by Paidipally, Hari, and Ahishor Solomon. The film features Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady. This will be the Pushpa star’s first film with the actor. She had posed for a selfie with him some time ago. The cast includes R Sarathkumar, Prabhu, and Prakash Raj, among others. Varisu is slated to hit the screens on January 12. It will clash at the box office with the Ajith Kumar-led Thunivu.
