Drishyam 2 box office collection Day 21: Ajay Devgan’s film is a total winner!

Ajay Devgan’s Drishyam 2 has been ruling the ticket windows ever since it was released on November 18. The film is now on the brink of crossing the Rs 200-crore mark. The Abhishek Pathak directorial had earlier collected Rs 100 crore within a week at the box office! The film, starring Ajay Devgan, Tabu, and Akshaye Khanna, is also competing with Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya and Ayushmann Khurana’s An Action Hero. Drishyam 2 has emerged as a winner in the box office race.

DRISHYAM 2 BOX OFFICE COLLECTION:-

Abhishek Pathak’s directorial venture Drishyam 2 opened at the ticket windows on November 18 with a whopping Rs 15.38 crore. Gradually, the film saw a massive increase in the box office collection. The film is all set to cross the Rs 200-crore club now. On Day 21, December 8, Drishyam 2 collected Rs 2 crore at the box office. Hence, the film has managed to mint a total of Rs 196.46 crore at the domestic ticket windows, according to trade reports. Meanwhile, Drishyam 2 had an overall 9.03 percent Hindi occupancy on Day 21.

ABOUT DRISHYAM:-

Drishyam is an emotional thriller that deals with the story of a cable operator, Vijay Salgaonkar (Ajay), whose life revolves around cinema and his family; wife Nandini (Shriya Saran) and daughters Anju and Anu. Tabu plays the role of IG Meera Deshmukh in the film. In Drishyam, Ajay played Vijay Salgaonkar, who protects his family at all costs after his daughter accidentally kills a boy.

After disposing of the boy’s body, Vijay removes all traces of proof and then takes a family trip to Panaji. They visit an Ashram, watch a film, and eat at a restaurant, creating their alibis. Drishyam is the Hindi remake of hit Malayalam flick of the same name, which was helmed by National-Award-winning director Nishikant Kamat. Drishyam 2, directed by Abhishek Pathak, follows the story after that.
