Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter and Prabhas Salaar to clash at the box office on Sep 28, 2023. What it means
Prabhas’ upcoming movie, Salaar is set to open in theatres worldwide on September 28, 2023. Hombale Films announced the new release date with a massy poster on Monday, August 15. This means that the biggie will lock horns with Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter, slated to arrive in theatres on the same day. Salaar is an actioner, directed by KGF Helmer Prashanth Neel. Fighter, on the other hand, is touted to be an action-thriller. It will be directed by Siddharth Anand.
CLASH OF THE TITANS:-
Prabhas, who suffered a setback when Radhe Shyam failed to live up to expectations, hopes to get things back on track with Salaar. On Monday, August 15, Hombale Films revealed that the flick will open in theatres on September 28, 2023. In doing so, they set up a clash with Siddharth Anand’s magnum opus Fighter. The Hrithik Roshan-starrer was to hit screens on Republic Day next year, This, however, didn’t happen as it was pushed back to make way for Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan.
The impending box office clash between Darling and Duggu has created a fair deal of buzz among fans. There is, however, a perception that the biggies may not be released on the same day as Hrithik is yet to start work on Fighter.
ALL ABOUT SALAAR AND FIGHTER:-
Salaar is an actioner that revolves around Prabhas’ character, an extremely “violent” man. It marks the mass hero’s first collaboration with Prashanth Neel, who emerged as a pan-India brand with KGF Chapter 2. Salaar has a strong cast that includes Shruti Haasan, Disha Patani, and Jagapathi Babu among others.
Coming to Fighter, is an aerial action thriller. The biggie stars Deepika Padukone as the leading lady and is her first film with Hrithik Roshan. Anil Kapoor is set to play a key role in Fighter. The film will be shot on a big budget and is likely to feature top-notch production values. The fighter is billed as a tribute to the valor and sacrifice of the armed forces.
