Liger box office collection Day 10:- Vijay Deverakonda’s film is a huge flop

Before Vijay Devarakonda and Ananya Panday’s film had hit the theaters, it was touted to end the dry spell on Bollywood of sorts. The film ticked mark all the formulas that would have worked in the pre-pandemic era, and the actors went all out in the film’s promotions. However, the result? Liger failed to bring back the audience to the theaters! The recently released film has crashed miserably at the box office. It has been receiving negative reviews from the audience and critics. This indicates that Liger will be pulled out of theatres soon. It is safe to say that Liger hardly created any impact in theatres.

VIJAY DEVARAKONDA’S BOX OFFICE COLLECTION:-

Directed by Puri Jagannadh, Liger hit the theatres on August 25 in five languages. The film raked in Rs 33 crore on its opening day. However, since then, the film has been witnessing huge drops in its box office collections. Liger recently completed a week in theatres and is hardly minting money. Even on weekends, it is hardly minting any money. Trade reports suggest that Liger is on a downward trajectory and the same continued on Day 10, September 3. According to reports, Liger’s worldwide box office collection was Rs 1.1 crore and the Hindi version couldn’t even earn a crore. After the latest earnings, the total worldwide collection of the film so far would stand approximately at Rs 66.89 crore gross worldwide and Rs 18.7 crore net for the Hindi version.

Written and directed by Puri Jagannadh, Liger is a sports drama with Vijay Devarakonda essaying the role of an MMA fighter with stammering issues. While Ananya Panday played his love interest, Ramya Krishnan was seen as his mother. Boxing legend Mike Tyson was seen in an extended cameo. Vish Reddy, Makarand Deshpande, Ronit Roy, and Ali played supporting roles.
