Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan 2 to release on THIS date?

Director Mani Ratnam tasted stupendous success with Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1, which hit the theatres on September 30. The film ended on a cliffhanger and now, all eyes are on the film’s second part. According to reports, Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2 is likely to hit the theatres on April 28, 2023. However, an official confirmation regarding the release date is yet to be out.

PONNIYIN SELVAN PART 2 TO RELEASE IN APRIL 2023?

The first part of Ponniyin Selvan collected over Rs 450 crore worldwide and is still continuing its run in selected theatres across the globe. The film ended up as a huge blockbuster. Currently, Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2 is in the post-production phase. According to trade reports, the film is likely to release on April 28, 2023, during the summer holidays. If everything goes as per plan, Ponniyin Selvan will release in April.

Ponniyin Selvan is based on the popular Tamil literary novel of the same name, written by Kalki Krishnamurthy. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Karthi and Jayam Ravi in lead roles. Prakash Raj, Jayaram, Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Sobhitha Dhulipala and Vikram Prabhu play supporting roles. The film’s music is composed by AR Rahman.
