Mark It down! SS Rajamouli’s RRR will win the Oscar for Best Picture, says Hollywood producer Jason Blum

RRR, which emerged as a massive critical and commercial success in 2022, was sent to the Oscars by the makers under the ‘For Your Consideration section. It has since created all the right noises globally. In the latest development, producer Jason Blum predicted that it will win the Academy Award for ‘Best Picture’. The biggie, shot in Telugu, will create history if this indeed happens. RRR is a period-action drama, directed by SS Rajamouli.

JASON BLUM PREDICTS OSCAR GLORY FOR RRR:-

Jason Blum, the founder of the production banner Blumhouse has boldly predicted that RRR will take home the Academy Award for ‘Best Picture’.

“I’m going with RRR winning best pic. You heard it here first. Mark it down, please. If I’m right, I am awarding myself my own Oscar, (sic)” Jason Blum was named Board Of Governors of the producer’s section of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences (AMPAS) last June.

ABOUT RRR:-

RRR is a period drama that features Jr NTR and Ram Charan as the tribal leader Komaram Bheem, and the revolutionary Alluri Sita Rama Raju, respectively. The fictional saga, set in pre-independence India, explores their friendship and highlights their fight against oppression. SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus marks Alia Bhatt’s Tollywood debut.

The ensemble cast includes Ajay Devgan, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Makarand Deshpande, and Olivia Morris, among others. Its music is composed by MM Keeravani.
