Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam
Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam is a Malayalam film directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. The film stars Mammooty, Ramya Pandian, and Ashokan in the lead roles. It also marks Lijo Jose Pellissery’s first collaboration with megastar Mammooty.
Touted to be a fantasy drama, the film tells about a man who slips into an afternoon nap and wakes up as a different person. Speaking about the trailer, the film explores themes such as male chauvinism, social-cultural reflection among humans, and the covid impact on human relations.
It is one of the most awaited movies of 2023 and had its premiere at the International Indian Film Festival in Kerala on December 12, 2022. The film received positive responses from audiences and critics.
Written by S. Hareesh, the film is jointly produced by Mammooty and Lijo. The cinematography of the film is by Theni Easwar and the editing is handled by Deepu S Joseph. Apart from Mammooty, the features Kainakary Thankaraj, T Suresh Babu, Chethan Jayalal, and Ashwath Ashokkumar in supporting roles.
