Prashant Shetty has known professionally as Rishab Shetty an Indian director and actor who primarily works in Kannada-language cinema. Rishab Shetty was born on 07 Jul 1983 (Age 39) in Keradi, Kundapur, Karnataka. Rishab Shetty is an Indian director and actor who primarily works in Kannada cinema. He is a diploma holder in film direction from the Government Film and TV Institute in Bangalore. He started off in the Kannada film industry by assisting director A. M. R. Ramesh in Cyanide film.

Shetty then assisted Arvind Kaushik on a TV series and went on to make his acting debut in Thuglak along with Rakshit Shetty. Rishabh played a small role as a police officer in Pawan Kumar’s Lucia.

Rishab played a key role in Ulidavaru Kandante’s movie directed by his friend Rakshit Shetty. He has a strong theatre background having done yakshagana. His directional movie Ricky got critical appreciation from the critics and also from the audience. In 2016, His latest released movie Kirik Party became the talk of the town after release and also successfully ran in theaters.

Rishab Shetty tied the knot with software professional Pragathi Shetty on February 9, 2017, in his hometown Kundapura.
