Its blockbuster success has proved to be a turning point in Kartik Aaryan’s career as many big filmmakers are now in line to sign him for their projects.
As the horror-comedy proved to be Kartik’s biggest success to date, his upcoming slate of films also has the potential to break several box office records.
While the actor Freddy is rumored to premiere directly on OTT, let’s look at his upcoming theatrical releases that have the potential to break records set by Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
Directed by Rohit Dhawan, Shehzada is the official Hindi remake of Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde-starrer hit Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The much-awaited film features Kriti Sanon as the leading lady. It is going to be Kartik’s first theatrical release after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and is slated to release next year, on February 10. Interestingly, Karan Johar’s directorial venture Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is also scheduled to hit the big screens on the same day.
Satyaprem Ki Katha:-
After the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik has teamed up with Kiara Advani once again for Sameer Vidwans’ Satyaprem Ki Katha, earlier titled Satyanarayana Ki Katha. After the much-loved horror comedy, their fans are now looking forward to seeing them together in a romantic film. As the title suggests, Kartik essays Satyaprem in the rom-com while Kiara will be seen playing his love interest, Katha. It is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
