Tamannaah Bhatia is an Indian actress who works in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi Cinema. She was born on December 21, 1989. She has been working since the age of 13 years.  In 2005, she made her debut with the Hindi film “Chand Sa Roshan Chehra, and in Telugu cinema with “Sri”. Later on, In 2006, she made her debut in Tamil Cinema with “Kedi”. She received several awards, including Asianet Film Awards, CineMAA Awards, and Asiavision Awards. She received eight Filmfare Awards South nominations. In 2021, she made her debut in the webseries with “11^th Hour” and, “November Story”. In 2023, she acted in the webseries “Jee Karda” for Amazon Prime and “Lust Stories 2” for Netflix. Her upcoming projects are “Bhola Shankar”, “Jailer”, “Aranmanai 4”, “Bandra”, and “Vedaa”. Through “Bandra”, she will be making her debut in Malayalam cinema.

1. She belongs to a Punjabi family of Sindhi descent. Her father is a diamond merchant.
2. She worked at the Prithvi Theatre for a year.
3.  In 2005, she featured in Abhijeet Sawant’s album song “Lafzo Mein Keh Na Saku”. Abhijeet Sawant is the first Indian Idol. 
4. Her Bollywood films “Himmatwala” and “Humshakals” did not work well at the box office.
5. “Baahubali” is her super blockbuster movie.
6. She changed the spelling of her name from Tamanna to Tamannaah after consulting a numerologist.
7. In 2016, She was made the Brand Ambassador of the Government of India’s Beti Bachao,Beti  Padhao initiative.
8. In 2018, She charged Rs 50 Lakh for a 10-minute performance of four songs from different languages in the opening ceremony of the IPL.
9. She was rumoured to be dating Indian Cricketer Virat Kohli. However, she denied the dating rumours.
