Waltair Veerayya box office collection Day 1: Megastar Chiranjeevi’s film performs much better than his last release Godfather

It’s a jam-packed schedule at the South box office with as many as four releases, all starring the who’s who of the industry. One of which is Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya. Our prediction report suggested that the film will witness a great start. As per early estimates, the film indeed fared well at the box office, giving tough competition to Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy.

WALTAIR VEERAYYA BOX OFFICE COLLECTION DAY 1:-

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s last release, Godfather, had put up a decent show at the box office. His first release of 2023, Waltair Veerayya, reportedly did well on its opening day. As per a Sacnik report, the film earned Rs 33 crore on Day 1. The share collection is touted to be around Rs 20 crore, which amounts to almost one-fourth of the film’s business. Waltair Veerayya not just gave tough competition to Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy, but also fared much better than Godfather.

Walter Veerayya has been directed by Bobby Kolli. Shruti Haasan plays the leading lady opposite Chiranjeevi. The film is produced on a grand scale by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers, while GK Mohan is the co-producer. While the story and dialogue were written by Bobby himself, Kona Venkat and K Chakravarthy Reddy penned the screenplay. The writing department also includes Hari Mohana Krishna and Vineeth Potluri.
