‘Mili’ Teaser: Janhvi’s Upcoming Film Promises To Be A Chilling Thriller Based On A True Story
If you’ve been waiting for a thrilling Bollywood movie to hit the theatres, your wait might finally be over. Janhvi Kapoor recently shared the teaser for her new movie—Mili—on her social media profiles and it looks super promising. The teaser starts off with a disclaimer that the story is inspired by ‘true events, which makes the short, 48-second clip even more chilling.

Just a few hours after sharing the first look poster from Mili, Janhvi Kapoor shared the teaser of the upcoming film, making fans sit up in excitement. It seems like the movie is a survival thriller based on true events surrounding the protagonist, Mili Naudiyal.
The story follows the life of a young nursing graduate who gets stuck inside a freezer and has to deal with the shockingly low temperatures that go down to minus 16 degrees Celsius.
The teaser starts off with Janhvi Kapoor desperately trying to beat the cold while crying out for help. With the chilblains seen on her face and her shivering, shaking hands, you can’t help but feel a rush of fear and anticipation for what is to come.

The upcoming film has been directed by Mathukutty Xavier under the banner of Zee Studios and Bayview Projects. It is not an original idea, however! This movie is a remake of an acclaimed 2019 Malayalam movie titled Helen, also directed by Xavier.
Helen won two National Film Awards, including the Best Debut Film of a Director and Best Make-up Artist, making fans believe that Janhvi’s newest endeavor is going to be promising. There are not too many well-made survival thrillers in Bollywood, so this is a great start to make a mark in the genre!
This is the first time the father-daughter duo of Janhvi Kapoor and producer Boney Kapoor have worked together (Boney Kapoor is producing the film). Mili will also star Manoj Pahwa, Sunny Kaushal, Sanjay Suri and others in important roles. The movie is all set to hit the theatres on November 4 this year.
