Trisha Krishnan is an Indian actress who primarily works in Tamil and Telugu films. She was born on May 4, 1983, in a Tamil Iyer family. She won the Miss Chennai beauty Pageants, after which she entered the industry. She made her acting debut in the 1999 Tamil film “Jodi”, but she gained popularity in the 2002 film “Mounam Pesiyadhe”, which turned out to be a commercially successful film at the box office. Her first Telugu hit film was the 2004 film “Varsham”, which eventually led to more offers in the Telugu film industry. She received several awards, including Filmfare Awards South, Tamil Nadu State Awards, Nandhi Awards, CineMAA Awards, Asianet Film Awards, Edison Awards, and SIIMA Awards.
