‘Salman Khan Or Amitabh Bachchan In Don 3?’ Shah Rukh Khan’s Film May Get Announced In 2023
Ever since the release of Don 2 in 2011, there has been a huge demand for its third part and fans are eager to see Shah Rukh Khan return as the anti-hero. In a recent interview, Alyy Khan who played the role of the antagonist JK Diwan in Don 2 was asked about an update on the third installment and he teased that it may get announced this year. That’s not all, he also added that he has heard about either the OG Don, Amitabh Bachchan, or Salman Khan joining Shah Rukh Khan as the surprise element in the film. When asked if Don 3 is on cards, he told Nadir Ali podcast, “Suna hai Ki Don 3 aa Rahi hai Kuch planning Chal Rahi hai. Shayad is saal Yeh log announce karenge.”
When asked about who will be there in Don 3, he said, “Usmein Shah Rukh Aur Sunne Ko aa Raha Ek surprise Bhi Hoga. Shayad ismein ya Salman ya Bachchan saab, is type Ki koi Badi hasti aane waali hai.” He further added, “Ab dekhein kya hota hai. Obviously, baat toh bahut hoti hai but for it to actually mature, Woh Bhi Apne AAP Mein Ek challenge hai.” Well, it seems there may be some truth to what Alyy is saying. Recently, there was a report about Amitabh Bachchan & Kajol joining the cast of Don 3 and that Farhan Akhtar was busy with the script of the third installment after putting Jee Le Zara on hold.
With Alyy Khan adding fuel to the fire, fans may finally get lucky and we may get an official announcement about Don 3 this year. Who knows, it could be Shah Rukh Khan’s next after Dunki. As for Alyy Khan, the actor will be seen in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies & the Indian adaptation of The Good Wife starring Kajol.
