Anushka Sharma is an Indian actress who primarily works in Hindi films. She was born on May 1, 1988. She made her acting debut in the 2008 film “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” opposite Shah Rukh Khan. She received several awards, including Filmfare Awards, IIFA Awards, Zee Cine Awards, and Stardust Awards. Her notable works in Hindi films include “Badmaash Company” (2010), “Band Baaja Baarat” (2010), “Patiala House” (2011), “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” (2012), “PK” (2014), “NH10” (2015), “Dil Dhadakne Do” (2015), “Sultan” (2016), “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” (2016), “Sanju” (2018), and “Sui Dhaaga” (2018). In 2020, she produced “Bulbbul”, under her production company, Clean Slate Filmz, which was released on Netflix. In 2022, she appeared in a cameo role in the film “Qala”, which was also released on Netflix. Her upcoming project is “Chakda Express”, which is a biopic of cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
In the year 2017, she married Indian Cricketer Virat Kohli, with whom she has a daughter, Vamika.
