Kriti Sanon is an Indian actress who works in Hindi and Telugu-language films. She was born on July 27, 1990, in New Delhi, India. She holds an engineering degree from the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology. After completing her education, she stepped into the entertainment industry and made her debut in Telugu Cinema with Nenokkadine opposite Mahesh Babu and later in Bollywood with Heropanti opposite Tiger Shroff. She won the Filmfare Award for best debutante Actress.
In 2015, she appeared in her second Hindi film, Dilwale, which was the highest-grossing film worldwide. Her other notable works are Raabta (2017), Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), Luka Chuppi (2019), Housefull 4 (2019), Panipat (2019), Mimi (2021), Bachchhan Pandey (2022), and Bhediya (2022).
She will play Janaki in Om Raut’s mythological film Adipurush (2023), co-starring Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan, and star with Shahid Kapoor in the yet-untitled film. Sanon will share the screen with Tabu and Kareena Kapoor in the female-led film The Crew, a film about an aircrew. She has launched her own clothing line, Ms Taken, and a fitness company, The Tribe.
